Dear Maryam,
When the doctors came, I had to leave you with them. I stepped away and sat on a chair next to your bed. But i could not see anything because of the curtain between us. All i could hear was
"Do a CPR!"
"Get me adrenaline shot!"
"Continue with CPR!"
"Get me more adrenaline shot. Straight to the heart!"
and I could only cry. And pray to Allah to spare you.
the doctor asked me to call Bapak.
"Ok, she's back"
I could hear the machine beeping to the rythm of your heart.
the doctors sighed of relief
until the machine produced that long screeching sound
the sound of a straight line
the absence of your heartbeat
and the same dialog was repeated.
over and over and over
and i was still alone
then Bapak and Wan arrived
and not a moment later, you left us
this time, for good.
i am crying right now reading this hanis..sedihhhhh sgttt...tringat macamana saat aku lost my baby ...sama macam hg...tgk doktor kelam kabut tuk selamatkan zulaiqha...

ReplyDeletePada aku kan, takdak istilah pengganti. kalo dapat baby baru pun, tu bukan pengganti. dan takkan ada yg lebih baik daripada baby kami sebab baby kami tu dah sebaik-baik ciptaan. kalo ada baby baru, baby baru tu jugak sebaik-baik ciptaan.
gila menyentuh hati..aku menangeh all the way baca post hg kali ni..sabaq weyh..
